So obviously I’ve been a little MIA around here. Life has been B-U-S-Y.
October went like this…
My sis and bro in law came in town for the Texans game.
I went on a girls trip with some of my best girls.
And even got to see my mom.
Halloween happened. And we pretty much CONQUERED it.
Attended a fabulous women’s retreat. (And had my first red cup of the season. YAY!)
So this past Friday, my fantastic boss insisted that she watch the little man all day while Nick and I spent the day together so that way we could actually SEE each other, you know. I’m pretty much winning when it comes to bosses.
It started with waking up to this from snowing the day before…
We headed off to a new coffee shop first that is ADORABLE.
Then we drove to a town I’ve never been to before to walk around the outlet mall. Christmas is coming friends so it’s good to get prepared. 😉 After that, we headed to lunch in their cute downtown area.
It was a COLD day so we went back to our favorite place. To hang out with our beloved friend.
It was such a great day to just be together and do whatever we felt like. 🙂
That evening, we took the little man to see the big man.
But watching Caleb get excited to see Santa light up all the trees was for sure worth it. (And I may have been pretty into it too…)
And we even got to meet Santa’s friends.
The Jones fam were big fans of the whole deal and sure makes me REAL excited for all of the Christmas things.
Safe to say it was a pretty fantastic Friday indeed. 🙂
